State Exhibition Hall "Gallery" Izmailovo "was opened in 1986. Currently, the gallery is one of the leading cultural institutions of the Eastern Administrative District of Moscow. It is an active exhibition, educational and socio-cultural activities.
The gallery is located in the "Izmailovo". The area got its name from the XIV century appeared in a small village not far from the Moscow region, Vladimir road, which became in the XVII century the royal patrimony. The historical past, reminiscent of a unique complex of monuments of XVII-XIX centuries. on man-made island created at the behest of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich, father of Peter I, which is a kind of symbol of the area. Gallery "Izmailovo" is located in the immediate vicinity of the former Tsar's court.
Gallery includes two exhibition halls, which are equipped with directional light, specialized suspension system, there are horizontal display cases to house exhibits, multi-format podiums, as well as a demo video equipment, monitors and projectors.
